Local Outreach

Discover and get involved with
our local ministry partners.

LifePoint Church partners with several local mission partners to care for the physical and spiritual needs of our community. Many of these organizations heavily rely on the effort of volunteers to accomplish their goals. See below for more information about these organizations and please consider offering your time as a volunteer.

Grace's Closet

Grace's Closet has free "shops" in every school in Oconee County. They provide clothing, personal hygiene, school and other items to students in need. Counselors take the kids in and let them shop as needed. We have partnered with Grace's Closet to provide a weekend food program in which we purchase and pack food backpacks for middle and high school kids who register. Our Wave students pack bags each week and then we deliver them weekly to the 6 middle and high schools in the county.

Foothills Care Center

Formerly known as the Foothills Crisis Pregnancy Center, Foothills Care Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that exists to glorify God by protecting and promoting the value of all human life. They offer hope through Jesus’ love, healing through emotional and spiritual support and help through medical and educational services.

Dream Center

The Dream Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit that serves those in need with a hand up instead of a hand out by empowering them to grow towards becoming healthy and self-sufficient. The Dream Center uses LifePoint's ministry outpost building in downtown Seneca to host life skills classes weekly for those who are seeking to improve their personal situation and gain additional skills for themselves or their families.

Golden Corner Food Pantry

The Golden Corner Food Pantry is the largest food pantry in Oconee County, serving over 2,000 poor and disadvantaged people each month with emergency and supplemental food supplies. Volunteers help with prepping and distributing groceries to clients as they arrive Monday through Friday.

Utica Village / Ann Hope Meal Program

Ann Hope Methodist Church offers a hot meal program each Wednesday evening in the Utica Village area of Seneca. LifePoint partners with Ann Hope by providing the food, cooks, and servers on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. This ministry feeds over 200 people every week.

Ripple of One

Ripple of One empowers families to move beyond public assistance and into their full God-given potential. Ripple of One is a program strategically designed to help families thrive. They teach participants life skills such as budgeting, money management, and how to exercise. They have programs that help participants earn a trade or college degree and obtain a living wage. They even offer incentives for meeting goals such as paid internships and money matching.

Ride To Work

Ride To Work provides temporary, affordable transportation to residents of Oconee County so they have the opportunity to transition to stable employment with a living wage and become self sufficient. LifePoint is working with Ride To Work to provide client mentors for those that have been in the program for 3-4 months and are making steady progress toward their goals of self sufficiency.
